Along the way, David has explored and researched everything he can about this disease. He has encountered many deadly battles and continues to thrive despite the threatening nature of his disease.

David believes that there are certain skills and understandings missing from the world of BAV. And, if patients can better understand and talk about this condition, it can lead to greater outcomes for people’s lives.

Throughout the years, David has seen the flood of internet comments on message boards and groups. He has seen how people ask the same questions, run into these same confusing scenarios, and sometimes even have regrettable surgeries.

This website and project seeks to fill in the gaps to educate people and give patients the tools for long-term success.
